A Place to Send Hurricane Relief $
My friend Liz in South Florida has provided information on a possible place to send relief dollars toward the Katrina aftermath. No overhead costs will be deducted from your dollars. This information came from an email by my Pastor, Marc Rivera, who was instrumental in organizing relief efforts here in NYC during and after the September 11th tragedy.

In such a horrible event that has be bestold on New Orleans, I often ask myself which is the bigger issue when it comes to a life theatening issue, Is it 1)should people of color be focus on the race and economic issue or 2)It our duty to help the oppressed first and than seek to destroy the oppressors????
